About Sean and Gina Vitrano
Gina Vitrano
Mediator
Gina is an experienced family mediator who has a knack for facilitating difficult conversations. She is an expert with numbers and earned a professional certification from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Gina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from York College of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a manager in human resources, communications, and marketing departments in the banking and manufacturing industries.
Today, in addition to her work as a mediator and managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, she operates Brighteye Bookkeeping, an independent bookkeeping firm serving small business owners. She is also the Registrar for the North Carolina Center for Mediation, a nonprofit organization that trains mediators seeking certification.
Gina volunteers her skills and time as the treasurer of several community organizations. She also teaches divorce workshops and financial literacy and budgeting skills to students in high school.
Sean Vitrano

Sean is an NCDRC-certified family financial and superior court mediator, arbitrator, and collaborative attorney who helps people resolve disputes out of court. He maintains an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Sean is a founding member of Triangle Collaborative Divorce Professionals, a community nonprofit that provides divorce education and trains non-adversarial divorce professionals. He is an officer of the NCBA Dispute Resolution Section and a past president of the North Carolina Association of Professional Family Mediators. He is a trainer for the North Carolina Center for Mediation and regularly teaches continuing legal and mediator education programs.
Sean is also an experienced attorney who practices primarily in the areas of family, juvenile, and business law. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and his law degree from Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Sean provides legal services to individuals and businesses through Alora Law.
